Search Engine Optimisation is an ever changing, very important area of website design. Keeping up with the new algorithms introduced by Search Engines in order to keep your website optimised is a big job. Time, patience and some mind numbing analysis is required.

Today, i found a Yahoo Search Engine Optimisation tool that does a great job of analysing your website (or more specifically webpage) and gives instant results. It gives you the opportunity to 'fix things' live (almost) and has got to be a great time saver.

It has taken me about 20 minutes today to analyse and optimise a couple of my more important webpages, namely my webecho homepage and (rather aptly), my Search Engine Optimisation page. I have presented the results of the Yahoo SEO page analysis for you to see.

It has been very effective on this website and my page score went from about 40 points up to 90 with some really minor changes, none of which affected the visible, readable content of my pages (apart from some small adjustments to the titles). It will be interesting to see what reults are produced after my website has been indexed again by all the major Search Engines.
